Heat Avoidance is a must when storing a perfume long and well. Perfect places for this are a basement or in the refrigerator. But if you don't have a cellar at your disposal and you don't like the refrigerator, you can also store it in a dark cabinet that is in a cool place.

Sunlight avoidance sounds very easy yet this is something that often goes wrong. As long as you always put your perfume back in the same dark place there is nothing wrong.

Temperature fluctuations you often have in a bathroom. This is also the very reason why we do not recommend storing your perfume here.

Oxygen can be avoided by making sure your perfume bottle is tightly closed.
